Live Music and Performances

Jenna Greene

Jenna Greene, “The Greene Lady”, is a weaver of musical myth and magic. With a voice that is both ethereal and soulful, she sings of ancient lore, finding wonder and following dreams. She beautifully interlaces her Celtic, World Folk and New Age influences to create a presentation of haunting ballads, drum-driven dance tunes, lilting harp and mythic story. She has released two albums of original music, Crossroads and Wild Earth Child. She is currently working on a collection of songs of hope called “Give Your Dreams Wings.”

Scott Helland, Guitarmy of One

Armed with his trademark Godin Multiac guitar, Helland has created a musical world of his own combining his love of movie soundtracks, punk rock and Celtic and Gypsy styles into a quirky melodic brew of instrumental acoustic guitar music. “Driving, propulsive and utterly enjoyable to listen to.”

An inveterate touring and recording musician with a background in punk but with the appetites of a would-be musicologist, Helland’s first band, Deep Wound, featured Dinosaur Jr.’s J. Mascis on drums, Sebadoh’s Lou Barlow on guitar, with Helland on bass. Helland still sits in with Dinosaur Jr. on occasion, reviving Deep Wound songs with his legendary band mates. Throughout the ’80s and into the ’90s, Helland also played bass with the Western Massachusetts punk/crossover institution Outpatients, splitting east coast shows with Hüsker Dü, Black Flag, Cro-Mags and many others. Currently Scott is the guitarist and co-founder of the internationally touring New York based Euro-American Alternative Folk duo, Frenchy and the Punk with singer/percussionist Samantha Stephenson.

Helland has been writing, recording and performing music since his early teens. He has released over 25 recordings including 8 solo CDs. Helland also released his art book - Feast - in 2015, a collection of more than 50 pen and ink drawings. His most recent solo record, ‘Never End the Rocket Century’ was released in 2017.

Myschyffe Managed

Myschyffe Managed is a New Hampshire-based a capella group specializing in medieval and renaissance madrigals. This motley crew was formed by a small herd of "Ren Rats" with a tenuous grasp on reality who also love to sing. The members feel that a bit of authentic period music adds to the overall ambiance of the various renaissance faires gracing our locale, and our audiences seem to agree. Our material is drawn primarily from the madrigal masters of old from Italy, England, Spain, and France. Our goal is to recreate a small part of the musical past for the entertainment and appreciation of the public. We can, however, easily change from the serious music to the, shall we say, traditional songs of drunkenness and debauchery as sung by lords, wenches, and pirates the world over.

Kellianna is an American pagan artist internationally performing song and chant inspired by myth, magic, sacred places and ancient times. With guitar and vocals she brings to life the stories and sagas of the Gods and Goddesses. With Native American frame drum and chant she honors the Earth and the Ancestors by way of primal drumming and powerful vocals.

Owl and Eagle

One of our favorite acts, the flute and drum duo of Michael Longrider and Lester Sevenstar use native style flute and drum to create a haunting and ethereal soundscape that invokes the American wilderness and aboriginal peoples.

Between them, Michael and Lester are 8 time winners of the Silver Arrow Award, 2016 Winners of the Native American Music Award in the Native Heart category, and 2 time Native American Music award nominees.

Rhiannon's Lark

Rhiannon's Lark is a solo music project created by Alyssa Yeager (sensual vocals, growly guitar, candy-coated ukulele) to express the reality of life as a geek, goddess, and girl. Alyssa is known for her "magickal, mystical storytelling". She began touring the festival circuit in 2005 with the band Telling Point, and has shared bills with artists including Frenchy and the Punk, Wendy Rule, Kellianna, and Tuatha Dea. She has released 5 original albums, including a children's album designed to encourage kids and caretakers to be creative and tell their own stories in song. Alyssa's background in music therapy motivates her to create songs that connect to the daily experiences in the lives of her listeners. She brings gaming, fantasy, morality, and t-rexes together into a show that will comfort your ears, get you laughing, and possibly even  make you think.

David Pontbriand

In the world of sitar, David Pontbriand is a rare exception to the rule.  Almost entirely self-taught, since 1973, he has developed an intuitive and emotive approach that is deeply personal, and yet classical in style, steeped in the traditional ragas of North Indian Classical music.  David is dedicated to raising awareness of the instrument, and the music for which it was created. In addition to regular public and private recitals, he teaches private lessons and presents lecture demonstrations for schools and other organizations.  Recent recording projects, Om Rasa, Sitar Dreams, Sitar-Rhythmia,Inner Spaces, and Rosean feature new and original music for the instrument.

The L.I.A.R.S.

The Ladies of Integrity, Aristocracy, Repute, and Society, or L.I.A.R.S., are a troupe of women who love to raise their voices together in song. They often perform at Renaisance Faires, but also perform traditional folk songs and sea shanties for a more modern audience.

The five lovely ladies, who go by the names of Temperance, Modesty, Serenity, Grace, and Patience have stated their goal to spread lovely harmonies and a love and appreciation of traditional music and sea chanties wherever they go.

The Misfits of Avalon

The Misfits of Avalon play traditional and contemporary Celtic music featuring the hammered dulcimer at festivals and faires all over New England. Brian Weiland plays the hammered dulcimer, Celtic mandolin, and anything else he can get his hands on. Max Cohen is a guitarist capable of playing with both sublime delicate beauty and energetic powerful drive- often within the same song! The newest member of the group is Brian’s youngest son Aiden, a brilliant fiddler whose astonishing ability is the result of his being given his first violin not long after he first learned to walk!
